No. 19 Haverford Handles Elizabethtown 3-0

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The match itself was shorter than the trip as the No. 19 Haverford College volleyball team swept Elizabethtown College, 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-17), in a 56-minute match on Wednesday evening. The Fords played stellar defense with five players reaching double figures in digs and the team tallying 72.

Kelsey Cantwell led the defensive charge with 17 digs and also added eight kills. Rebecca Salvo was the only Haverford (7-2) player to reach double-digits in kills with 15, while amassing a .519 kill percentage. She also recorded 10 digs and three blocks. Franny Glick (13), Rachel Salvo (12) and Becca DeHority (10) all had at least 10 digs.

Paige Tanner led Elizabethtown (4-4) with 10 kills.

The Fords travel to Hoboken, N.J. this weekend to play in the Ducks Classic hosted by Stevens Tech. HC faces the Ducks at 4 p.m. and Massachusetts Institute of Technology at 8 p.m. on Friday.
