AVCA Enters Partnership Agreement with Rotate 123
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 2, 2010) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is pleased to announce a new partnership agreement with Rotate 123, a software dedicated to aiding coaches in the creation of team lineups and formations.
As part of the agreement, the Rotate 123 online rotation software will be available free to AVCA members beginning in August when joining or renewing your membership with the AVCA (a $20 value).
"One of our goals is to provide innovative tools to coaches that improve both their efficiency and effectiveness," said AVCA Executive Director Kathy DeBoer. " Rotate 123 is another great example of this type of product. This Web-based tool will save veteran coaches countless hours, while also allowing newer coaches to creatively explore their offensive and defensive options."
Rotate 123 founders Kyle Mashima and Prescott Lee are veteran Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who love volleyball. They are avid players, and both coach club and high school volleyball. While coaching, they found a number of tasks that were incredibly time consuming. This experience led to the creation of their first product: Rotate 123.
"We considered the AVCA the perfect partner to help us introduce Rotate 123 to the volleyball marketplace," said Mashima. "They have opinion leaders and influencers in every sector: college, high school and club."
Whether you're a veteran coach or new to the game, Rotate 123 can save you hours preparing your team's lineup and formations. This tool is designed to help beginner and/or busy coaches do more tactical coaching.
