BYU-Idaho's 2001 season ended against College of Southern Idaho in the Region 18 Tournament, but Reeve's team still produced a 32-14 overall record. Reeve's teams have won nine Region titles and finished second six times. Her teams have never posted a losing record in any season. BYU-Idaho has posted at least 30 wins in each of the past 16 season.
In 1996, Reeve was selected as the AVCA/Tachikara West Region Coach of the Year for Junior College/Community College Women's Volleyball. Reeve's career reached another milestone in 1998. At ceremonies conducted November 22, 1998, at Utah Valley State College, the site of the NJCAA finals, Reeve was inducted into the NJCAA Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
She has coached 12 All-Americans, eight of them earning First Team All-American status. JoAnn came to BYU-Idaho in 1970 to teach Physical Education. Since her arrival she has coached badminton, tennis, softball, track and field, and basketball, as well as volleyball. She has served as chairperson of the WICAC and has been a member of the AVCA since it was formed.
In addition to her contributions on the court, she has also served as a leader in her community and at Ricks College. She served an LDS mission to England in 1983. Reeve is a native of Salt Lake City. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University where she received her bachelor's degree and her Nursing degree. She is currently a member of the AVCA and is chairperson of the WICAC volleyball committee.
