The AAU Junior Florida Open - Thursday, June 28
Cocoa Beach, FL (Girls 18:U/16:U)
This event has been in operation since 1999 and has been a part of the AAU (Indoor) National Championships. It takes place on the last day following the indoor championships. This event now takes place on two different days with the younger age groups four days earlier in Orlando. This event has been held at Walt Disney World at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, in addition to other resorts around Bay Lake, before the event outgrew the area and moved to the ocean at Cocoa Beach. A wide variety of teams from around the country also draws a significant number of Florida athletes who do not compete at the nationals. Also a qualifier for the AAU Junior Olympic Games. This is girls-only event.

19th AAU National Beach Volleyball Championships - July 14-15
Hermosa Beach, CA (Girls 18:U/16:U/15:U/14:U/12:U/10:U)
This is the largest and oldest event on tour. The event also hosts boys divisions. The west coast presence makes this one of the most difficult tournaments to compete in with two rounds of pool play followed by single-elimination playoffs. This event has been televised since 1994 and always featured some of the top talent in the country. Previous champions and medalists have been a virtual who's who of talented players, many of which are former and current professional beach volleyball players. This event is an open event and no qualifying is required, however the teams that make it back to day two are some of the most talented young beach volleyball players. Coaches' hospitality program.

AAU Junior Olympic Games - August 28-30
Hermosa Beach, CA (Girls 18:U/16:U/15:U/14:U/12:U)
Beach Volleyball became a Junior Olympic demonstration sport in Virginia Beach in 1998 and an official sport at the 1999 games in Cleveland. This is a multi-sport event taking place over two weeks where teams must qualify to compete in the games. The AAU Junior Olympic Games began in 1967 in Washington, DC. There is a wide variety of teams attending from throughout the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. This year the event will be a part of the West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games along with surfing.  Teams must advance to this event from local, district and regional qualifiers. This event will also have boys divisions. This event has also been held in Knoxville, New Orleans, Des Moines and Detroit. Television scheduled. Coaches' hospitality program.
