No. 15 Philadelphia Biblical Defeats No. 13 D'Youville at NECVA Crossover
Harrisonburg, Va. - The Crimson Eagles won in a thriller Friday night, downing D'Youville in five gruelling games.
PBU won by scores of 20-30, 30-26, 19-30, 30-26, 24-22.
Freshman Justin Brubaker recorded the second highest kill total in all of NCAA III this season, knocking down 38 kills to go with 18 digs in the victory. Eric Vance of Cal State Northridge is the only player to acheive a higher kill total this year when he recorded 40 in a five game match just three days ago on March 25.
Rookie Drew Dillon pumped out 56 assists and sophomore Leandro Dueck contributed 12 kills, eight digs, three aces, and three block assists.
The Crimson Eagles will continue play in the NECVA Crossover tomorrow morning when they take on Nazareth College at 10:00 am and Medaille College at noon.
