AVCA Awards nomination and Statistical Information watch list sent out-Service attempts, assist attempts and reception attempts are all tracked. Although failure to provide all of these will not disqualify your athlete from being nominated, they are good stats to keep. Please spread the word to coaches on how to assist their SID's in getting this information.
AVCA and NCAA Poll and Score Reporting-A friendly reminder that if you are an AVCA poll voter, have your information in by 7:00 p.m. Eastern time every Monday in order to have your vote count.

AVCA Score Reporting: All coaches please record your scores and schedules on the website at www.avca.org every Sunday by 7:00 pm ET.
NCAA score reporting must be completed every Sunday 6:00 pm ET on www.NCAA.org. Your team will not be considered for regional evaluation or selection to the championship if scores are not reported by the designated times on the online score reporting form.
NCAA Memos: see attached documents
AVCA Convention Registration went live online last Wednesday. Please log on to the website and register today. The NCAA matches are sold out but AVCA can get you there by registering. Update from Wendy Payne-As of 09/06/06, 112 AVCA members had already registered for Convention versus 40 this same time last year. Also, please don't forget to check the committee's section of the AVCA web site to make sure that you are listed correctly online. Feel free to send any changes to me at email@example.com.
NCAA Rules: NCAA Division II Volleyball Liason-Bren Stevens mentions that attack line not being taped down appropriately in some cases. Please review the memo and diagram attached.
NCAA Legislation: Proposals are now the on the www.ncaa.org website. These are the proposals that will be voted upon in January of 2007. One proposal of volleyball interest is in the individual training during the non-championship season. This would be going from working with 4 athletes/2 hours a week to unlimited number of athletes for 2 hours a week. This training would still be considered in the 8 hours.
Next Call: October 4th, 1pm central time.
Please Contact Kim Sudbeck with any issues that arise prior to October 4th.
