AVCA Phenom College Preparatory Program
The AVCA Phenom College Preparatory Program is a weekend of events held in conjunction with the AVCA Annual Convention. The AVCA College Phenom Prep Program is an invitation-only event for unsigned Under Armour Watch List and AVCA Phenom athletes. For 2012, the event will be held in Louisville, Kentucky from December 13 - 16. Participating student-athletes and their parents will attend educational sessions, the Under Armour All-America High School Volleyball Match, NCAA volleyball matches, interact with AVCA Collegiate All-Americans, undergo Volleyball Performance Index testing, and participate in the NCSA/AVCA Talent Showcase during which athletes will demonstrate their skills in front of the 100+ college coaches in attendance.
The AVCA Phenom College Prep Program is a weekend for student-athletes and their parents to learn, network and socialize. The event is designed to prepare and educate participants and their parents about playing volleyball at the collegiate level.
featuring the NCSA/AVCA Fall Girls' Talent Showcase
The NCSA/AVCA Fall Girls' Talent Showcase is a recruiting event developed for college coaches attending the AVCA Convention.
- When: 8:30 - 10, 10-11:30, and 11:30 - 1p.m. on Sunday, December 16
- Where: Hall 1AB of the Kentucky International Convention Center
- Who: AVCA Phenom athletes and unsigned Under Armour Watch List athletes who will graduate from high school in 2013, 2014, 2015 or 2016 as well as junior college players. Registration fee: $150
