What is the AVCA Junior Showcase?  Junior Athletes sign up to participate in a few hours of on court volleyball drills and scrimmages.  The drills and scrimmage are viewed by college coaches in person and video taped for coaches that can not attend.

2012 JVA World Challenge presented by (title sponsor will be announced shortly).
We received a request from Piero Rebaundengo, volleyball Events director of the FIVB in a letter dated July 26th to change our midyear event title.  The letter states, "We are contacting you because we would like to kindly ask JVA to refrain from using the word ‘world' with championships as the title of your events or any such similar terms as only the FIVB, as the International Volleyball Sports Federation associated to the International Olympic Committee is entitled to use these terms." Therefore, our event will be called simply the "JVA World Challenge".

Even though we have only had a number of Canadian teams participate in the last two years, we will continue to encourage teams from other countries to join our event.  We do have a budget to help with food and transportation on site and AAU will provide free memberships for the team for the duration of the event.  If you have any connections with teams outside of the USA, please share the event information with them.
