The AVCA is proud to announce its 2025 Division III Men’s Volleyball All-Region teams and award winners.
Each of the four region teams includes 14 players, and a Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 56 student-athletes who made All-Region represent 27 different schools. Leading the way with six selections is New York University, while Springfield College has five, and Carthage College, Messiah University, and Southern Virginia University have four All-Region team members apiece.

2025 AVCA DIVISION III REGION COACHES OF THE YEAR
REGION I COACH OF THE YEAR
Charlie Sullivan, Springfield College
2025 Record (as of April 15): 22-4
The Pride has enjoyed another outstanding season under Sullivan, who picks up the 2025 Region I Coach of the Year honor. His team enters this year’s NCAA Championship with a 22-4 record, with two of the losses coming to National Collegiate teams.
REGION II COACH OF THE YEAR
José Piña, New York University
2025 Record (as of April 15): 25-0
After reaching the semifinals of the Division III championship last year, Coach Piña’s team has taken it up a level in 2025. His NYU squad has rolled through the regular season, going 25-0 and compiling a whopping 14 wins against ranked teams.
REGION III COACH OF THE YEAR
Justin Beachy, Messiah University
2025 Record (as of April 15): 25-3
The Falcons bring a 25-3 record to the NCAA regionals, which marks the most wins during the regular season since Beachy took over at Messiah in 2018. This year’s squad becomes the third team in school history to advance to the NCAA Championship.
REGION IV COACH OF THE YEAR
JW Kieckhefer, Carthage College
2025 Record (as of April 15): 22-3
Kieckhefer has the Firebirds firing on cylinders heading into this year’s NCAA Championship. His team begins the 2025 postseason having won 16 of its last 17 matches after winning both the CCIW regular-season and tournament titles.
