Connecting top junior boys athletes with collegiate volleyball programs

The AVCA Boys’ Talent Showcase is a recruiting event developed for men’s team college coaches attending the AVCA Convention. The event is open to uncommitted and unsigned high school and two-year college boys volleyball players. The talent showcase will be held from 10am – Noon on Saturday, December 21 in the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Please note there will be one waive of players and the AVCA expects approximately 50 – 60 kids to participate.

Boys Showcase Participants

The 2024 AVCA Boys Showcase will take place at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, December 21.  The cost $99 per athlete prior to Friday, November 22. Athletes that choose to register will:

• participate in the talent showcase
• be put through a round of athletics metric testing called the AVCA Volleyball Performance Index
• receive some insight into the collegiate recruiting process and tips to improve their visibility

*New for 2024* – The AVCA is offering a new opportunity for registered athletes. For an additional $25, athletes can take part in the AVCA Boys Showcase Clinic in the evening on Friday, December 20 at the convention center. Registered athletes will have a chance to learn and develop their skills with the guidance of elite men’s college coaches from across the country. This a terrific opportunity to get better and prepare for the main event on Sunday. The clinic will begin at 8:30pm and conclude at 10:30pm ET.

After November 22:

• Late Reg Boys Talent Showcase – $125
• Late Reg Boys Talent Showcase + Boys Clinic – $149

• 7:30 – 8:30pm – Boys Clinic Registration and Check-In – KICC North Pre-Function
• 8:30 – 10:30pm – AVCA Boys Clinic – Skill Development Training – KICC Hall DE

Saturday, December 21

• 7:30 – 8:30am – Talent Showcase Registration and Check-In – KICC North Pre-Function
• 8:30 – 9am – Warmup & Stretching – KICC Hall DE
• 9 – 9:50am – VPI Testing – KICC Hall DE
• 9:50 – 10am – Introduction and Recruiting Talk – KICC Hall DE
• 10am – Noon – AVCA Boys Talent Showcase – KICC Hall DE
• 10:30 – 11:30am – Parents Session – KICC L016 (Lower Level)
